My fellow athletes know two things about me: 1. I train smart and 2. I use PVM products because I believe in the brand.
The journey began in 1998 when I was part of a competitive Adventure Racing team, I was approached because I was a triathlete that performed well in the shorter distances but excelled in the longer disciplines. During that time the BOOM in the marketing of nutritional supplements was just starting to take effect and much debate was had about the different brands on the shelves. In my case, the proof was in the pudding where every time I used PVM I could sustain my energy levels for so much longer.
The bars were palatable and the flavours were diverse so that I did not get tired of one or two choices.
PVM is a company of integrity, whenever I approach them for nutritional advice they actually listen to what my needs are and assist accordingly. Whenever I race and get tested, I supply the necessary sample with a low heart rate and a smile. No athlete that raced solely on PVM has ever tested positive for any substance deemed illegal by WADA.
I know that the research and development in the products are catering for every level of intensity, recovery and training of any person, be it recreational or international competition. It is not every company that can display their Code of Ethics and constantly measure themselves against it.
